Production Process

Raw Material Entry

The goal of raw material entry management is to ensure the quality, accuracy, and specification of raw materials during the production process, and to ensure they can be effectively and promptly used in production. Through standardized acceptance, storage, usage, quality control, and traceability management, a solid guarantee for the production of high-quality products can be provided.

Raw Material Cutting

The principle of raw material cutting involves using mechanical cutting tools to quickly cut raw materials into required sizes or shapes. This process typically relies on machines like band saws or circular saws and tools like band saw blades or circular saw blades, adjusting cutting force, speed, and depth to achieve the desired result.

Raw Material Heating / Forging Process

Heating raw materials for flanges is aimed at enhancing material plasticity and reducing hardness, preventing cracks or deformation during processing. It also improves the material's microstructure to meet the processing requirements, and is commonly applied in forging, heat treatment, or welding stages of flange manufacturing. Forging involves heating metal materials to a proper temperature and applying external force to deform them, resulting in flanges with good mechanical properties and precise dimensions. This process is commonly used for flanges that need to withstand high pressure, require high strength, and wear resistance.

Heat Treatment

Heat treatment is a process of heating, holding, and cooling metals under specific temperatures to alter their structure and properties. It improves the mechanical properties, wear resistance, toughness, and corrosion resistance of flanges, which is crucial for their performance in high-pressure, temperature-variable, and corrosive environments.

Machining

Machining refers to processing raw materials like forgings, castings, or rolled plates using various methods to achieve precise dimensions, shapes, and surface quality. Common machining processes for flanges include turning, milling, drilling, threading, and grinding to ensure proper fit, sealing, and mechanical performance for use in pipelines and equipment.

Inspection Process

Flange inspection ensures that products meet design and quality standards. This process includes dimensional checks, visual inspections, mechanical property testing, sealing tests, and non-destructive testing. Strict inspections ensure the strength, sealing, and reliability of flanges during installation and operation.

Key Process Stages in Flange Production:

Raw Material Processing

This mainly includes raw material cutting and heating. Cutting is done with mechanical tools to achieve the desired size and shape, while heating enhances material plasticity and reduces hardness to prevent cracking or deformation during further processing.

Forming Process

The forging process is key, as it involves heating raw materials and applying force to deform them, improving the metal's mechanical properties and ensuring high strength and wear resistance for the flange.

Machining and Inspection

This includes machining and inspection. Machining, through turning, milling, etc., achieves precise dimensions and shapes, ensuring proper fit and sealing of the flange. Inspection verifies the flange's quality through various tests including dimensional, appearance, mechanical, and sealing tests.
